Construction of NR10 from Veal Veng to Osom reached 69%

The construction of National Road No. 10 from Veal Veng to Osom in Pursat province, spanning 96 km, has reached 69% completion, according to a statement by H.E. Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat Province on March 7, 2023. The project was implemented using DBST paving, which was funded by a loan from the Chinese government.

National Road No. 10 is a crucial infrastructure project connecting Battambang to Koh Kong province, with a total length of 197 km. H.E. Sok Lou, Governor of Battambang Province, confirmed on January 24, 2023, that the construction of the road from Battambang to Koh Kong province was almost 70% complete. (Read more)

Meanwhile, during the technical inspection and progress of the construction project on February 22, 2023, H.E. Sun Chanthol, Minister of Public Works and Transport, stated that almost 60% of the entire National Road No. 10 construction project has been completed.

The construction of National Road No. 10 is essential for the development of the region, as it will improve connectivity and facilitate the transportation of goods and people between provinces. Once completed, the road will contribute to the area’s socio-economic development, providing better access to markets, health and education services, and job opportunities. (Read more)
