Construction of Stung Bot border checkpoint 80% complete

Construction of Stung Bot border checkpoint and the road connecting to NR5 has been 80% completed, and both governments are ready for this upcoming international border crossing. 

HE Oum Rath, Governor of Banteay Meanchey Province, provide the progress update on the National Radio of Cambodia on 25 January. 

“Everything has proceeded as planned. Both sides have officers while other stakeholders are also ready for the opening of the checkpoint,” said HE Oum Rath. 

This project includes the construction of an international gate building, a dormitory building, a storage terminal, a warehouse, and a container yard. 

Thailand provided a US$26.5 million concessional loan for this project. (Read more)
