This is according to a site inspection by the Minister of Public Works and Transport HE Sun Chanthol on the morning of 30 June.

Besides giving an update on progress, HE Sun Chanthol also encouraged the construction and technical consulting companies to embrace high technical standards while performing their tasks and also urged them to speed up the work so that the project can be completed as scheduled.

According to the minister, the infrastructure for the project includes border checkpoint buildings, dormitory buildings, transit terminals, warehouses and container yarda, and administrative buildings.

The project is being built by CM Grand Development Co., Ltd & Tan Kim Eng Co., Ltd and technically supervised by Team Consulting Engineering and Management PLC.
