Developed by Singapore’s YCH Group and Cambodia’s Sear Brothers Investments, the 132-hectare dry port and industrial complex aims to modernize supply chains and elevate regional trade competitiveness

Cambodia has officially commenced construction on a $300 million dry port and Special Economic Zone in Kampong Speu province, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom’s transport and supply chain modernization. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Phnom Penh Logistics and Industrial Complex, officially branded as the Cambodia SuperPort, was held on August 31, 2026, in Sampov Village, Chbar Mon Sangkat, Chbar Mon Town. Presided over by H.E. Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, representing Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, the event brought together senior government representatives and international investment partners.

Spanning 132 hectares of strategic land, the high-capacity development project is being executed through a joint-venture partnership between YCH Group, Singapore’s premier supply chain solutions provider, and Sear Brothers Investments, a prominent Cambodian conglomerate. Designed as an integrated smart logistics hub and industrial park, the complex will feature advanced warehousing, custom services, transport facilities, and centralized goods-management operations within a single master-planned environment. The infrastructure is positioned to significantly enhance Cambodia’s trade competitiveness by streamlining multi-modal supply chains and facilitating the efficient movement of manufactured products from domestic industrial hubs to regional and global markets.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many highlighted that the Cambodia SuperPort serves as an exemplary model of public-private cooperation between the Royal Government of Cambodia, domestic enterprises, and international investment partners. He emphasized that translating this strategic vision into a concrete facility will yield long-term benefits for national economic expansion and elevate living standards across local communities. Strategically situated at a pivotal junction connecting major industrial corridors and multi-modal transport networks, the complex establishes a unified ecosystem that harmonizes industrial production with modern logistics solutions to meet evolving investor demand.
