Tycoon Ly Yong Phat Teams Up With Thai Firm to Build Huge Construction Material Market

Renowned Cambodian investor Neak Okhna Ly Yong Phat has partnered with a Thai firm to build a huge market selling construction material and decorative products, according to local media Cambonomist.

One of the Cambodia businesses owned by Neak Okhna Ly Yong Phat’s LYP Group has entered into a join investment with Thai-based construction materials and decorative products distributor Siam Global House to build a huge market in Sen Sok District called ‘Global House’ stretching over 10 hectares of land.

Speaking to the same source, Neak Okhna Ly Yong Phat said that investment for ‘Global House’ will cost about US$10 million, of which LYP Group owns 45% of the shares, while the other 55% is owned by Siam Global House.

This construction materials market, which is located in Baayab Village, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh (near Aeon Mall Sek Sok), will have more than 100,000 items available on sale with most products are construction materials and home decorative products, the source said.

The market will officially on 1December, 2018.
