MLMUPC to organise second construction law workshop

The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC) will organise a second dissemination workshop on construction law for professionals in the construction sector at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel on 13 February.

According to a Ministry announcement issued on 5 February, the dissemination workshop is for those registered architects, engineers, and electrical engineers who were absent at the first construction law dissemination workshop held on 14 January.

The workshop will run from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm with a presentation by H.E. Theng Chansangva, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and chairman of the policy and law development and dissemination working group.

The ministry will provide certificates to participants who meet the requirements. The certificates will be considered as a mandatory document when applying for or renewing the professional licenses for registered architects and engineers.

The construction law was approved in November 2019 and will be fully implemented within six months after it comes into force. (Read More)
