MPWT Discusses Two Draft Laws on Road & Rail Use

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has discussed the draft sub-decree on the management of the use of roadside land and the draft sub-decree on the management of intersection points and the use of railway land along the railways.

The meeting was held on 21 June, chaired by HE Secretary of State Pal Chandara, with the participation of the ministry’s officials, and the working group in charge of drafting the sub-decree and the relevant technical groups.

The purpose of the meeting was to review and discuss the opinions and input of the General Department of Resettlement for Development Projects of the Ministry of Economy and Finance on the Draft Sub-Decree on the Management of Better Road Land Use.

He said that after reviewing and discussing with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and relevant institutions, the draft sub-decree will be discussed with HE Senior Minister Sun Chanthol before submitting it to the minister to sign for official use.
