Oknha Pung Kheav Se Receives Honorary Doctorate From Royal Academy of Cambodia

On behalf of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, Prime Minister Hun Sen awarded an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration to Oknha Pung Kheav Se, renowned investor, in recognition of his great contribution to the socio-economic development of Cambodia.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen at the inauguration on November 21 said that “Indra Devi building is a new achievement for the Royal Academy of Cambodia, a place where intellectual resources are served for the benefit of the society.”

Also in the ceremony, eight other national dignitaries and intellectuals were also nominated for honorary degrees for scientific work and honorary work of the Royal Academy of Cambodia.

Oknha Pung Kheav Se, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canadia Bank and Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC), the company behind this US$1.5 billion project, has committed to finishing construction of the new Phnom Penh International Airport before turning 87 years old, marking another major achievement for him in Cambodia.

OCIC has so far invested in numerous large projects in Cambodia such as Diamond Island Development City, Olympia City, and most notably the current rapid development of Chroy Changvar Satellite City.
