PM Hun Sen to Use Trophy Cash to Build Decent Houses for Veterans

Cambodia Prime Minister Hun Sen will use the US$1 milllion trophy cash from the World Summit of Peace to build decent houses for veterans.

The remarks were made after PM Hun Sen won a medal in the “7th World Rally of Hope: Think-Tank 2022” held on 12 September via videoconference on the theme of “Peace in the Asia-Pacific”.

“For the US$1 million trophy cash I got from the conference, I will use to it to build decent houses for veterans,” he said in the handover ceremony of the Chinese-funded Morodok National Stadium held on Sunday 12 September.

The budget is estimated to be used for building at least 250 house as each house would cost approximately US$4,000.
