Property insurance values US$41 million in 2021

Property insurance has a total premium of US$41.5 million by 2021, or 33.1% of the gross premium of general insurance, which is worth 501 billion riels or approximately US$125 million.

The gross premium of property insurance accounted for the largest share of general insurance with other insurance services such as medical insurance and auto insurance, according to Cambodia’s Financial Stability Review 2021 released by the National Bank of Cambodia.

The gross premium of general insurance will increase by 8.2% in 2021, the report stated.
