ROAD CARE Supervision Plan 70%​ Complete

The process of preparing a “detailed design for an information and data management website” for the road quality control function development project (ROAD CARE Supervision) is 70% complete as reported in a meeting of the technical working group of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on 01 July 2022.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr Thou Samnang, Deputy Director-General of the General Department of Technology, said that the purpose of this meeting was to exchange ideas as well as provide additional important inputs to the development of road quality control functions before the official launch.

The new ROAD CARE Supervision project will strengthen the quality of roads in accordance with technical standards and ensure the management of the quality control, technical repair, maintenance, and construction of roads of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. It will then be more effective and easier for the ministry’s leaders to monitor the quality of the road through quality control work.
