Seven Tourism Projects Planned for Koh Kong Province

A private firm is planning to develop seven tourism projects on approximately 10 hectares of land in Botum Sakor and Mondol Seima districts of Koh Kong province, according to the Koh Kong administration.

The project was proposed by Ms Keo Ratana and is currently in the study phase, and the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment HE Srun Darith and relevant officers on inspected the site on 21 December.

The project is located in a high potential area, near the development project of the Union Development Group (AKA Dara Sakor project).

Koh Kong is one of the high potential provinces that has been attracting many multi-billion-dollar investment projects. The most well-known one is Dara Sakor project, while others include the new airport by LYP Group, the hydropower dam, as well as the recently-approved coal-fired power plant project.​ (Read more and more)
