This next phase of planting is expected to commence in August, as reported by the National Radio of Cambodia on 6 September 2024.

The project is part of a broader “green sprout” concept aimed at promoting sustainable environmental practices across Cambodia. HE Dr Sophalleth highlighted the significance of the palm tree as a national symbol, saying it fosters an appreciation for natural resources and Cambodia’s cultural heritage. (Read more)
