Construction of New Rehabilitation Centre in Poipet over 33% Complete

Construction of the new Poipet Rehabilitation Center worth over US$2.3 million has been 33.18% completed. 

Secretary of State of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation​​ HE Nhek Vannara​ provide an update on the progress during the site inspection on 10 January. 

The construction of the project started on 15 August and is scheduled to be completed in early August 2023. 

This centre will help the victims of human trafficking to have new hope in life by providing various training skills. 

Cambodian professional officers who will work in this centre​ will be trained by Thai experts.  

The training will be conducted in this centre for 6 months from March to August 2023.
