Cambodia to Build Tallest Bridge Worth Nearly $23 Million in Pursat

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport is embarking on a groundbreaking project in Cambodia, with the construction of the tallest bridge across the Russey Chrum River in Pursat province. The bridge is part of the construction project of National Road No. 10 connecting Battambang-Pursat-Koh Kong and is set to become a significant landmark in the country.

The bridge, which is expected to cost $22.92 million, will be 90 meters high, 530 meters long, and 10 meters wide, making it the tallest in the country. According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the project will take 28 months to complete, starting in February 2023 and ending in May 2025.

The construction of the bridge is expected to enhance connectivity between the provinces of Battambang, Pursat, and Koh Kong​ at km 128 + 915, improving access to vital services, and facilitating trade and commerce in the region.​ (Read more)
