$1.58Bln of Over 2K Construction Projects Greenlight in Siam Reap in Last 5 Years

In the last 5 years, Siam Reap has received a total of 2 305 construction projects, which accounted for 2.19 million square meters with total registered capital of US$1.584 billion, according to provincial governor Tea Seiha addressing at a March 29 press conference on the province’s achievements in the past five years.

H.E. governor noted that during these last few years, Siam Reap province has remarkably noticed the fast development of the construction sector, including both large and small scale and residential construction throughout the province.

According to the H.E. governor, among all projects, there are 37 projects, which covered a total area of 582K square meters with total investment capital of US$ 1119 million, had been issued construction permits by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction.

In addition, the provincial authority had approved to 351 projects with a cumulative area of 1 million square meters and the investment value of these projects was US$310 million. On top of that, authorities also issued construction permits for other 1915 projects valued at US$ 155 million, representing a total area of 611K square meters.
