7NG to build Intelligent & Innovation City in Kandal Province

7NG (Cambodia) Co., Ltd has revealed an ambitious plan to build an Intelligent & Innovation City or I.I. City on a 777-hectare plot in Kandal Province, with the aim of creating the fully functioning smart satellite city in Cambodia.

According to a press conference by 7NG (Cambodia) Co., Ltd on 17 May, the I.I. The city will consist of two main parts, namely The Smart City and The Ancient City.

The Smart City will include residential buildings, a convention and conference hall, a golf course, a botanic garden, a museum, and other infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Ancient City is designed for cultural purposes with a combination of architecture from different historical periods of the Khmer Kingdom. The Ancient City will serve as a cultural tourism spot, host the office of the International Buddhist Community, a School of Arts, and be a place where locals can gather to show and express their creativity.

7NG (Cambodia) Co., Ltd is currently working on the legal documents with relevant government agencies to push the project into reality as soon as possible. The company has not yet revealed either the budget or timeline of the project.
