The American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia has pledged to attract US investments to the country’s growing digital sector.

This commitment was announced by chamber president Casey Barnett during a meeting with H.E. Minister Chea Vandet on March 20, 2025.

Barnett praised the ministry’s reform efforts and emphasized collaboration between US investors and Cambodian businesses.

Minister Chea Vandet outlined ongoing initiatives to advance the digital landscape, including telecommunications reform and building digital government infrastructure. Key plans include establishing a digital park to foster innovation, support start-ups, and enhance digital literacy through educational opportunities.

With these developments, Cambodia aims to strengthen its digital economy and become an appealing destination for technology investments.
