Cambodia Unveils Its Tallest Bridge: Techo Santephap Russey Chrum Bridge

In a significant milestone for infrastructure development, the Cambodian government has officially named the tallest bridge in the country “Techo Santephap Russey Chrum Bridge.” This announcement was made in accordance with Letter No. 897 SJC.S., dated May 27, 2025.

Standing at an impressive height of 90 meters, the Techo Santephap Russey Chrum Bridge is Bridge No. 28 of the National Road 10 construction project. Spanning a total length of 537 meters and a width of 10 meters, the bridge is strategically located in Chhay Luk Village, O Som Commune, Veal Veng District of Pursat Province. The construction of this vital structure was financed by approximately USD 25 million, and the construction was carried out by CRBC Company, with technical supervision provided by Guangzhou Wang An Company. The National Road 10 project, which facilitates connectivity across the region with a total length of 198.518 kilometers, has recently reached completion, with a handover ceremony held to mark this achievement. This essential roadway, designed as a Grade III double-layer asphalt (DBST) road, was built with financial backing from the Chinese government, amounting to over USD 188 million. (Read more)
