Booyoung Group Expresses Investment Interest in Infrastructure & Transportation in Cambodia

Booyoung Group, a leading South Korean conglomerate, has expressed its interest in investing in Cambodia’s infrastructure and transportation sectors. The announcement was made during a meeting between the Booyoung delegation and H.E. Sun Chanthol on February 28, 2023. 

As Cambodia continues to develop its infrastructure and transportation networks, foreign companies like Booyoung Group are keen to explore investment opportunities in these areas. The delegation expressed its eagerness to collaborate with the Cambodian government in building and upgrading various transportation infrastructure projects. 

It is worth noting that Booyoung Group has already contributed to Cambodia’s transportation sector by providing 200 public buses to Phnom Penh Capital Hall. The move has greatly benefitted the public by providing reliable transportation options following the pandemic recovery. (Read more)

In addition, the company has committed to providing 60 buses to the Sihanoukville Provincial Administration, helping to facilitate the city’s bus service by 2024. (Read more)

With this latest expression of interest, Booyoung Group aims further to deepen its investment in Cambodia’s transportation sector, bringing its expertise and resources to help enhance the country’s infrastructure and transportation networks.
