Cambodia, Hungary Sign Air Transport Agreement

The Cambodian and Hungarian governments have signed a bilateral aviation transport agreement to facilitate the air transport of goods and passengers between the two countries.

The agreement was signed on the afternoon of 03 November between Minister in charge of State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) Mao Havannall, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.

HE Mao Havannall said the agreement would help strengthen and expand civil aviation relations between the two countries.

He added that all these results came from the Cambodian government’s past efforts in negotiating with the Hungarian side in 2015.

Cambodia is the 45th country that the Hungarian government has reached an air transport service agreement with.

In addition to the air transport agreement, the two countries also signed two other MOUs, one on water resources management and another on agriculture.
