Cambodia’s First Wildlife & Aquarium Park Open in November

ANGKOR WILDLIFE & AQUARIUM, a park with “rare” fish, other animals and various species in Cambodia officially opened on 1 November 2022.

The park is located along NR6, in Kbon village, Khchas commune, Sot Nikum district, Siem Reap province.

The park complex covers more than 10,000 sqm and feature freshwater and marine fish species that already exist in Cambodia and some imported from abroad.

The first phase of the park features displays of various species of animals, including tigers from South Africa, bears, turtles and mountain crocodiles.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the project contributes to the wildlife and animal preservation of education and tourism with unique attractions for national and international tourists visiting Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.

The first phase of construction began on 29 April 2019 and was completed in October 2022.

After the launch of the first phase, the Japanese- and US-invested company will continue to build the second and subsequent phases on a total area of ​​100 hectares with a total investment budget of US$70 million​
