Canadia Group plans to develop 500h plot near NR 51 and more

Canadia Group, a multi-million dollar finance and construction business, has announced plans that will contribute to the development of Cambodia’s economy.

The announcement was made by the group’s Chairman Neak Oknha Pung Kheav Se, in a recent exclusive interview with Construction and Property Magazine.

Neak Oknha Pung Kheav Se said: “As a local investor, I will continue to invest a massive amount to develop many other projects. Those projects include the new Phnom Penh International Airport, a new special economic zone stretching on 500 hectares plot near National Road 51, housing and commercial projects in Koh Norea, as well as an exhibition centre in Chroy Chongva.”

He said the investment plans are a response to the government’s policy and to contribute to the development of the national economy.

“We have seen that Cambodia, under the smart leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen is enjoying remarkable economic development. Especially when there is peace and political stability, people can live in good condition and be happy,” he said.

Although he did not give further details of the plan, Canadia Group is known to have successfully developed many projects, such as Diamond Island, Olympia City, Chroy Chongvar Satellite City, among other well- known construction projects in the kingdom.

Canadia Group invests in two main segments; finance and construction and property which include international airport and tourism. So far, the firm has invested around US$5 billion, employing 30,000 people and contributed heavily to the development of Cambodia. (Read more)
