Five Investment Projects Worth US$26 million Approved for K. Speu, SHV, & Phnom Penh

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given permission to private firms to invest US$26.23 million in building five factories in Kampong Speu, Sihanoukville, and Phnom Penh.

The first firm is Fukki Apparel and Laundry Technology Co., Ltd, which will invest US$5.4 million to establish a garment and laundry factory in Sangkat Prek Leap in Phnom Penh.

The second is The Inheritance (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, investing US$5.3 million to establish a shoe accessories factory in Maha Russey commune of Kampong Speu’s Kong Pisey district.

The third is Solar Long PV-Tech (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, which is investing US$12 million to establish solar panels and components factory in the Special Economic Zone in Phnom Penh.

The fourth is Cambodian Xihanouke Cabinet Co., Ltd, investing US$3 million to establish a cabinet factory in the Special Economic Zone, Jejang Gore, Sihanoukville.

The last one is Taica (Cambodia) Corporation, which is investing US$620,000 to establish a rubber factory in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone

According to CDC, these five new projects will create 4,192 jobs for local people.
