CDC Approves Three Projects Worth US$16m in Kampong Speu

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given permits to three private firms to invest US$16 million to establish three factories in Kampong Speu province. 

These private companies include: 

The first firm is “WINDARA INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD” which will invest US$5.4 million to establish a backpack factory for sleeping bags, tents, garments, and bedding, located in Building C, Lvea village, Ang Popel commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. 

The second firm is “YUE WING CHEONG MANUFACTORY CO., LTD” which will invest US$5.4 million to establish a factory to produce all kinds of bags, located in Makak village, Snom Krapeu commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. 

The third firm is “XIN SHUN JIE (CAMBODIA) LEATHER CO., LTD” which will invest US$5.2 million to establish a factory to produce all kinds of bags and garments, located in Krabei Tram village, Chung Ruk commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. 

According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), the three new projects will create 4,585 jobs.
