China Provides Over US$4m of Special Funds to Develop 13 Key Sectors in Cambodia

Cambodia and China have signed an Agreement on the Cooperation Projects of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund 2022, under which Cambodia has been granted US$4,335,900 to develop 13 key sectors.

The agreement was signed between HE Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and HE Wang Wentain, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Cambodia.

Under this agreement, Cambodia will be able to develop many key sectors including IT, rural development, tourism, environment, combating fake news, immigrant and border management, research, aviation as well as heritage conservation.
