Construction of 14-Storey Information Ministry Building 70% Complete

Construction of a new 14-storey building of the Ministry of Information is over 70% complete and is set for full completion by early 2022, according to the site inspection by Minister of Information HE Khieu Kanharith yesterday.

Located inside the Ministry of Information along Monivong Blvd., this new building has 14 floors, is 65 metres tall, and 14 metres wide, with more than 300 working rooms. The building will be used for use by the General Department of Information and Audiovisual, as well as the General Department of AKP.

Construction began on the project in December 2019 and is currently being implemented by Khun Sear Development Group and the Chinese firm BELLETONE, while the total construction time is set at 24 months.

On this occasion, HE Khieu Kanharith also encouraged the construction firms to always follow property standards and techniques to ensure the safety and quality of the construction.
