Construction of 30km Road Connecting Three Communes in Kampong Cham Set for Completion

The construction of a nearly 30-kilometre road connecting three communes in Kampong Cham province is on schedule and set for completion by the end of 2022, according to a site inspection by Kampong Cham Governor HE Un Chanda on Sunday 13 February.

During the inspection, HE Un Chanda asked the technical officers to ensure that the construction is in accordance with the technical standards.

He also requested the district authorities and the committee to assist on any tasks, especially with impact resettlement.

At 27.3km long and paved with DBST, the road is being built under a budget from the World Bank and implemented by the Ministry of Rural Development at the request of the Kampong Cham Provincial Administration.

This road passes through three communes, including Prek Koy, Kang Tanong and Sokong communes in Kang Meas district.
