Construction of Gold Tower 42 Remains on Course

After being reinstated following cooperation with Chinese companies, the Gold Tower 42 project,now renamed to GT42, remains on course with construction actively progressing.

A few days ago, an employee of Yon Woo Cambodia, the new owner of the GT42 project, told Construction&Property Magazine by telephone that the project is still on going as planned.

“There is no change … we continue the construction just like the information the company has announced in the past”, she said.

The project, which had been suspended for about 10 years, has seen construction restart at a swift pace. The gold coloured glass is now being installed on the building located on the corner of Sihanouk Boulevard and Monivong Boulevard.

This stunning building in the heart of Phnom Penh resumed development following an agreement signed between Yon Woo and two Chinese companies namely Shenzhen Hongtao Decoration and Waiman Construction & Engineering to jointly restart the project. The project is expected to finish by 2019.
