DANONG Agricultural Development Group, a major Chinese company, has inked agreements with four strategic partners for substantial agricultural investments in Cambodia. The signing ceremony took place on 12 September 12023.

The esteemed collaborators joining forces with DANONG are the Cambodia Agriculture Cooperative Alliance (CACA), Agri Bank Construction Land, Panagri International Farm Co., Ltd., and Century Group Co., Ltd.

This zone will encompass corn cultivation, grass, straw, and protein-rich crops, as well as beef cattle farming. Additionally, the project includes the construction of agricultural product processing facilities.

Mr Zhao noted that the primary export destination for these agricultural products is China, where there is substantial demand. Furthermore, this investment will create employment opportunities for Cambodian residents, contributing to their livelihoods and income.

DANONG Agricultural Development Group has ambitious plans to invest over US$12.7 billion in smart agriculture across six strategic Cambodian provinces, including Sihanoukville, Kampot, Battambang, Pursat, Siem Reap, and Kampong Thom, encompassing approximately 750,000 hectares. (Read more)
