Gov’t Greenlights Two Thriving Investment Projects Worth US$10.14 M, Boosting Economic Growth

The Investment Committee of Cambodia, under the esteemed Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), has unveiled its endorsement of two promising investment ventures, totaling an impressive sum of over US$10.14 million. These ventures will usher in the establishment of factories in the vibrant provinces of Kampong Speu and Phnom Penh, as officially announced by the CDC on May 5, 2023.

The first project, spearheaded by “Z.S.M GARMENT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD,” has secured an investment of US$5.1 million for the establishment of a state-of-the-art garment factory. This manufacturing marvel will find its home on Lot 340, Veng Sreng Street, Trapeang Thleung 3 Village, Sangkat Choam Chao I, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh.

Embracing the spirit of progress, the second venture, led by “SUXINGMAX GARMENT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD,” will channel an investment of US$5.04 million towards a cutting-edge garment factory. Its strategic location will be situated in Taing Krasaing village, Penay commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.

Delivering on their promise, these investment projects are projected to generate a substantial 3,072 job opportunities, invigorating economic growth and propelling the development trajectory of Cambodia. With a focus on expanding the industrial sector, the CDC’s unwavering commitment to promoting and facilitating investments has attracted foreign direct investments, thereby catalyzing remarkable prospects for local communities.
