Hyper Hope Nutrition Plans Soybean Processing and Oil Extraction Facility in Cambodia

In a move to strengthen domestic agricultural supply chains and foster agro-industrial processing, HYPER HOPE NUTRITION (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. has announced plans to establish a modern soybean processing and soybean oil extraction plant in the Kingdom. The investment expansion project was presented during a working meeting on August 26, 2026, between H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and a company delegation led by Chairman Gong Xiang Yu.

During the discussion, Secretary General Chea Vuthy welcomed the delegation and commended the company for its sustained confidence in the Royal Government of Cambodia’s economic governance. He highlighted Hyper Hope Nutrition’s successful track record in the country since 2023, when it first established an animal feed manufacturing facility that has since maintained smooth production and achieved steady commercial growth.

Citing Cambodia’s favorable investment environment and clear policy support, Chairman Gong Xiang Yu explained that constructing a dedicated soybean processing facility will significantly expand the company’s operational footprint while driving national socio-economic development. The upcoming plant is expected to create direct and indirect job opportunities for local workers, enhance the domestic processing of agricultural yield, and reduce reliance on imported raw materials.

To maximize the economic benefits for rural communities, the Council for the Development of Cambodia urged Hyper Hope Nutrition to conduct feasibility studies on soybean cultivation and contract farming in major agricultural hubs, including Tboung Khmum, Kampong Cham, and Kratie provinces. Establishing raw material supply chains across these provinces would actively engage local farmers, guarantee stable market access for domestic crops, and secure a reliable supply of raw materials for the processing facility.
