Polish Firm IM Capital Holding Sets Sights on Expanding Hospitality and Real Estate Investments in Cambodia

During a high-level meeting with Prime Minister Hun Manet, company leadership proposed establishing a bilateral chamber of commerce and exploring diversified tourism packages to deepen economic and cultural ties.

Poland-based IM Capital Holding has formally expressed its intent to expand its investment portfolio within Cambodia’s hospitality and real estate sectors. The strategic plan was revealed during a working meeting between Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Iwona Kmiecik, founder and CEO of IM Capital Holding.

During the discussion, CEO Iwona Kmiecik detailed the company’s ambitions to broaden its real estate and hospitality footprint, aiming to extend its operations into other major tourist destinations across Cambodia. Noting a surge of interest among Polish companies and enterprises in the Cambodian market, Kmiecik requested support from relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to establish a future Poland-Cambodia Chamber of Commerce. The proposed institution is designed to bridge the private sectors of both nations more closely and deeply.

In response, Prime Minister Hun Manet encouraged the firm to explore the creation of comprehensive, diversified tourism packages. These initiatives would be designed to guide travelers beyond coastal and island regions and into Cambodia’s rich cultural and eco-tourism poles, aligning with the Royal Government’s global promotional campaigns for its diverse tourism offerings.

Concluding the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed an upcoming business delegation visit from Poland and encouraged IM Capital Holding to maintain close cooperation with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to ensure the long-term success of its investment roadmap. (read more)
