128 High-Rise Building Projects Approved in 2022

The government approved a total of 128 high-rise projects or equivalent to 142 buildings in 2022, according to the latest report of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. 

Among those, 86 projects equal to 93 buildings are in Phnom Penh, 14 projects equal to 16 buildings in Sihanoukville and 13 projects equal to 15 buildings in Banteay Meanchey province 

There are 99 buildings with height of 5-9 floors, 44 buildings with height of 10-9 floors, 13 buildings with height of 20-29 floors, and 6 buildings with height of 30-39 floors,  

From 2000 to November 2022, Cambodia approved a total of 2,534 high-rise projects.  

In 2022, the government approved total of 3,827 construction projects nationwide with a total construction area of more than 6.5 million square meters. (Read more)
