Japanese LED Light Factory Helps Cambodia Reduce Electricity Costs by About US$1 Million a Year

Japanese company Minebea Mitsumi produces 100% LED lamps in Cambodia and also exports to worldwide markets. So far, the company has installed 18,880 LED lights, which has reduced electricity consumption and CO2 emissions by about US$1 million a year.

Mr. Yoshihisa Kanuma, CEO of Minebea Mitsumi reported on these statistics during a meeting with Samdech Techo Hun Sen on 26 July 2022.

Mr. Kanuma presented the company’s progress over the past 10 years, having invested a total of 1.124 billion yen worldwide and with 95 locations.

Mr. Kanuma added that his company focuses on quality, price, economy, good service, speed, and especially on the environment.

Samdech Techo also reminded us about the history of Minebea Mitsumi, especially when the company decided to invest in Cambodia, when Samdech Techo implemented the two strategies, which come first, to catch that fish and do it. Let all companies that come to Cambodia have confidence in Cambodia.
