Korea Eyes Investments in Water Supply, Wastewater Treatment & Recycling Systems in Cambodia

South Korea firm -Techcross Water & Energy – has sought to understand investment opportunities in Cambodia by focusing on the environment, such as water supply, wastewater treatment, and recycling.

The information was shared in a meeting between Commerce Minister HE Pan Sorasak and representatives of Korea’s Techcross Water & Energy held in Phnom Penh in early April.

In the meeting, the company representative said that given Cambodia’s potential and continuous growth, the company wants to contribute to the development in Cambodia to turn Phnom Penh into a green city like Seoul, South Korea.

For his part, HE Pan Sorasak expressed support for the projects, which he said will contribute to improving the environment in Phnom Penh.

He recommended the company to work with local partners and relevant authorities on the project. He also encouraged Korean investors, especially large Korean companies, to invest more in Cambodia.
