MPWT to Manage & Monitor Infrastructure Construction Projects Through One-Stop App

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) is speeding up the development of a new app called `PR Care’, aiming to integrate and systemise all data of infrastructure construction projects nationwide into a single online system for more effective management.

Minister of Public Works and Transport HE Sun Chanthol chaired a meeting on Wednesday 12 January to follow up on the app development progress.

At the moment, all infrastructure projects are managed individually with a lot of documents and relevant officials involved. This complexity makes it difficult for MPWT to manage and monitor the quality and progress of each project.

However, this new PR Care App will integrate all projects into a single system. This app will display all project data such as project info & history, monthly progress, construction site information, construction materials and human resources data, among others.

Thus, by using this app, the ministry will be able to monitor, manage and evaluate the progress and quality of the project more effectively and comprehensively from the groundbreaking stage to the inauguration.

During the meeting, HE Sun Chantol also requested the IT team to review, edit and cooperate closely with stakeholders to put the app into usage as soon as possible

MPWT has been developing the PR Care App since July last year.
