NCSD Drafting Sub-Decree to Reduce GHG to Promote Clean Energy Investment

The National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD) has held a meeting to review and discuss a draft sub-decree on the management of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), mechanisms aimed at promoting investments such as clean energy, renewable energy, research, and technology transfer of eco-friendly technology, according to the meeting on 6 May 2022.

Meanwhile, the sub-decree has been drafted to respond to global climate change and improve the livelihoods of local communities through the implementation of projects and increase resilience to climate change.

The meeting agreed on the content of the sub-decree and urged for adoption as soon as possible in order to extract funds and benefits to support the national economy and improve the living standards of local communities.
