New hospital building worth US$15 million approved for 7 Makara district

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given a permit to Phnom Penh General Hospital Co., Ltd. to invest US$15 million in building a new polyclinic hospital building in 7 Makara district of Phnom Penh capital.

According to the CDC’s announcement on 28 January, the 200-bed hospital will be located along Street 125 of Sangkat Veal Vong.

Not only providing more health services to Phnom Penh citizens, but the hospital project will also help create 458 jobs for locals during the construction and operational period, CDC added.

On January 17, CDC also approved the investment projects worth almost US$2 billion including hydropower plants, ports and transportation centres in various provinces. (Read more)
