NR8 from Prek Tameak Bridge to Prek Rong I Bridge to be Expanded

The Khsach Kandal District Administration will soon expand NR8 from Prek Tameak roundabout to Prek Rong I Bridge in Prek Tameak Commune.

According to the notice dated 7 February 2022, the expansion will improve aesthetics and reduce traffic congestion.

In the meantime, the authority has also ordered owners to demolish all illegal constructions built on public land along the road within 15 days from the date of this notice.

In the first stage of expansion, 13 metres from each side is needed to be cleared. Meanwhile, in the second phase, 30 metres from each side is required to be cleared.

Those who disobey the order or do not demolish their constructions will face legal action and pay for the cost of demolition done by the authority.
