PM Hun Sen to Inaugurate New Land Ministry Headquarters in April

The new headquarters of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction in Sen Sok district will be officially opened under the presidency of Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen on 04 April.

The new office building is located in Anlong Kngan village of Sangkat Khmuonh, north of the Grand Phnom Penh Gate, which is a newly-developed area.

The headquarters is being constructed on over 3 hectares of land, consisting of five floors and a total area of over 50,000 square metres. Meanwhile, the construction began since January last year.(Read more)

The project is divided into two parts, the Ministry headquarters and the construction research institution. Both are designed in the Khmer style architecture to promote ancient architectural works.

Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction HE Chea Sophara once said that the relocation of the headquarters will help accelerate the workflow, especially in dealing with land and construction issues.
