PP-SHV Expressway Extends 20% Discount for ETC & ANPR Users to Mark One-Year Anniversary

As Cambodia’s Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway celebrates its one-year anniversary, the PP-SHV Expressway Company has made the decision to maintain its current fee structure for another year, offering a substantial 20% discount to Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) users. The announcement, which carries significant benefits for commuters, was made by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia.

This extended discount scheme, spanning from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024, ensures that ETC and ANPR users will continue to enjoy a 20% discount on expressway fees, promoting the use of advanced toll collection technologies to enhance the commuting experience.

For those who opt for cash payments (MTC), the PP-SHV Expressway Company has also extended a 20% discount, albeit for a period of six months, commencing on 1 November 2023 and concluding on 30 April 2024. Fees for road usage are meticulously calculated based on the actual distance traveled and the type of vehicle, making the expressway a convenient and cost-effective choice for all travelers.

In the past 12 months, an impressive 4,679,000 vehicles have traversed the new expressway. This achievement reflects the successful culmination of more than 40 months of dedicated construction efforts. The extension of the discount scheme stands as a testament to the commitment to providing commuters with efficient, affordable, and high-quality expressway services. (Read more)
