Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration Approves US$500,000 Investment Project of Water Amusement Park

Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration has approved the investment project of the water amusement park of LE SOLEIL MEILAN INTERNATIONNAL TRAVEL Co., LDT, which is worth about US$ 500,000 at Ochheuteal Beach 2, Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, according to the meeting on 22 June 2022.

To the company’s presentation, the investment site will be built in front of the company’s hotel, which is 100 meters wide and 150 meters long and about 20 meters far from public beach space.

The company will provide water temples, water volleyball, water balloons, rotating water airbags, banana-shaped boats, paddle boats, floating airbags, floating bridges, water swings and a team of jet skis as well as staff for rescue.

The Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, HE Kouch Chamroeun, has supported the company’s request because it is a new tourism product for Preah Sihanouk and creates jobs for local people.

In addition, HE Governor also instructed the company to study the economic and social benefits, technical specifications, and environmental impact in detail for the provincial administration to prepare a proposal to the National Committee for Coastal Management and Development (NCCMD).
