Seven Malls to Rise in Phnom Penh This Year

In response to the high demand, seven shopping malls are now under construction and expected to rise across Phnom Penh in 2018, with several more to come by 2019, according to research by CBRE Cambodia.

The seven malls are divided into three categories including community malls, shopping malls, and retail podiums:

-Aeon Mall 2 shopping mall in Sen Sok (70,500sqm)
-Midtown Mall community mall in Teuk Thla (5,000sqm)
-Parkson Phnom Penh City shopping mall along Russian Blvd (70,200sqm)
-Noro Mall community mall in Boeng Keng Kong I (10,000sqm)
-The Bridge Retail Podium in Tonle Bassac near Sihanouk Blvd (20,000sqm)
-The Park Community Mall in Chbar Ampov (10,000sqm)
-Downtown 93 Community Mall nearby Chbar Ampov bridge along Monivong Blvd (3,800sqm)

Beside these seven malls, there are several more that are also under construction and expected to rise in 2019. Those are Orkide the Royal Mall, Olympia Plaza, Diamond Plaza, Tropic Mall, and Eco Mall.

Besides these malls that are going to be completed and open for service within this year, many other projects both by government and private investors are also going to be finished within this year including public infrastructure as flyovers, roads, public transport, and condos, commercial buildings, and many other construction projects.
