Elvin Sou (Cambodia) International Shoe Factory Launches in Kampong Speu to Serve US Market

Elvin Sou (Cambodia) International Standard Shoe Factory (Cambodia) has marked its official opening in Samrong Tong District, Kampong Speu Province. The factory, which boasts a substantial investment of US$6.4 million, was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of HE Dr Ith Sam Heng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, on June 19, 2023.

As a prominent player in the industry, Elvin Su (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., the parent company, envisions a production capacity of approximately 3 million pairs of high-quality safety and winter shoes per year. The shoes cater to both domestic needs in industries and commerce as well as the lucrative US market, positioning the company as a key exporter.

Hu Zhaohui, CEO of Alvin Su (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., expressed confidence in the factory’s capabilities and its potential to meet international standards. The state-of-the-art facility embodies the company’s commitment to excellence, ensuring the production of footwear that adheres to the highest quality and safety requirements.

During the inauguration ceremony, HE Dr Ith Sam Heng emphasized the significance of this investment by Elvin Su (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. He highlighted that the establishment of this factory represents a valuable addition to Cambodia’s manufacturing and export capabilities, specifically in the production of standard safety and winter shoes. Furthermore, the development is expected to create numerous employment opportunities for local workers, fostering economic growth and enhancing livelihoods at both the individual and community levels.
