Completion of ‘Moradok Techo’ Flyover Set for March 30, Opening

The first phase of the “Moradok Techo” flyover, connecting Samdech Techo Hun Sen Blvd. and Monivong Blvd., is poised for completion by March 30, 2024, with plans to open its second floor to traffic on April 1, 2024, announced by the Phnom Penh Capital Administration in Announcement No. 024/24 dated March 28, 2024.

Construction progress on the first phase of the “Techo Heritage” flyover is nearing completion, with only minor tasks remaining, and is also slated for finalization by March 30, 2024.

In anticipation of the upcoming Khmer New Year and to alleviate traffic congestion at the boulevard intersection, the Phnom Penh Capital Administration, with approval from the three Prime Ministers, has decided to temporarily inaugurate the “Morakot Techo” flyover on April 1, 2024.

The Monivong Blvd flyover project, managed by the Cambodian Overseas Investment Company OCIC, commenced construction on August 31, 2022, and was officially linked on January 29, 2024, adhering to a construction timeline of 36 months. (Read more)
