The project of environmental management and improvement around Tonle Sap Lake in Pursat 90% complete

The project to improve the management of the urban environment around the three Tonle Sap for the geography of Pursat has completed more than 90% of the construction work, according to the Pursat Municipality administration on June 28, 2022.

HE Chiao Tay, Governor of Pursat Province, cit that this is another new achievement that makes the province change its face from day to day, especially to help meet the living needs of the people to another level.

It should be noted that the project to improve the management of the urban environment around the Tonle Sap Lake for the geography of Pursat city has two sub-projects: First, the sub-project of the drainage system, rainwater, wastewater and wastewater treatment plant started the project from the beginning of 2020. So far, more than 90% of the construction work has been completed and secondly, the landfill sub-project started to be implemented in April 2020, so far, the construction work has been completed 100%.

However, in addition to the above two projects, the Pursat Municipality is also requesting ABD to add an additional 20 km of curb project on both sides of the road in Pursat City, while the 15,427-meter plan is being worked out by the working group. The busy construction is about 4,091 meters.
