The United States Department of Transportation (DOT) is considering prioritizing investment in transportation projects in Cambodia, while the United States is currently in discussions with the Department of Public Works and Transport to explore the sector. Jiga Phat, Transportation Technology Technology Policy Analyst at the US Department of Transportation International Trade and Trade Bureau, said the meeting focused on technical cooperation in the field of transportation between the Ministry of Public Works and the Department of Transportation. In response, Koy Sodani, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, also requested that the US Department of Transportation have a model of cooperation model for key priorities for Cambodia.
