US$1.4 million Krouch Chhmar Referral Hospital 80% Complete

The construction of the Krouch Chhmar Referral Hospital in Tbong Khnum province is almost 80% complete, while the provincial administration is speeding up the progress aiming for final completion by year’s end.

Tbong Khmum Governor HE Cheam Chan Sophorn said during the site inspection on 16 September that the Kroch Chhmar District Referral Hospital was a gift from PM Samdech Hun Sen through the Minister of Land Management worth US$1.4 million.

With ground broken in July last year, this hospital is a 4-storey building being built on 13,000 sqm of land and according to the plan, the project will be completed by the end of 2021. (Read more)

The hospital will be equipped with modern medical tools such as a CT scanner, digital X-ray, and an ultrasound machine, among others.

Upon completion, the hospital would not only provide effective health services for the community of Tbong Khmum province but for nearby provinces as well.
