Grand Inauguration of US$43 Million NSSF Headquarters Showcases Modernity and Efficiency

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) proudly unveiled its new headquarters, a state-of-the-art building valued at US$43 million, during an official inauguration ceremony on July 6, 2023. Dr. Aun Porn Moniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, presided over the momentous event.

The impressive 21-story building, situated in Banlea Set Village, Sangkat Khmuonh, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, spans an expansive total area of 30,313 square meters. Designed to meet the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics, the NSSF headquarters stands as a symbol of progress and efficiency.

HE Ith Sam Heng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training and Chairman of the NSSF Board, highlighted the building’s exceptional features, including a comprehensive fire safety system, advanced building management system, state-of-the-art air conditioning and water management systems, efficient electricity infrastructure, well-equipped meeting halls, robust data management systems, and meticulously planned furniture and infrastructure surrounding the building.

The complex also boasts a beautifully landscaped garden and a concrete road stretching 1,040 meters. The entire project, with a budget exceeding US$43 million, was entirely self-funded through the savings of the NSSF unit itself, emphasizing their commitment to financial prudence and resource management.

The building’s cutting-edge design and advanced facilities will undoubtedly support the NSSF’s mission of delivering efficient and reliable social security benefits to the people of Cambodia.
